Apple Fruit Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/3 c. apple juice
    1 large tart apple, peeled and coarsely chopped
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. maraschino cherries, halved
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Combine egg, apple juice, raisins, walnuts and cherries. Bake in a greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
