Baked Herbed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 large baking potatoes (10 oz. each), scrubbed
    1 tsp. dried basil or thyme leaves, crumbled
    2 tsp. each lemon juice and melted butter or margarine, mixed
Preparation
    Mix Parmesan cheese, basil and pepper.
    Halve potatoes lengthwise.
    Brush cut surfaces with lemon-butter mixture, then dip into cheese mixture.
    Place coated side down in a spoke pattern on a glass pie plate.
    Microwave on High at 14 to 16 minutes, rotating dish one-half turn once, until potatoes are tender and edges lightly browned.
    Hold plate up to check.
    Let stand 2 minutes.
    Makes 4 side dish servings.
