Mary'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. Swans Down cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream
    together
    the
    margarine, Crisco and sugar.
    Add baking powder,
    vanilla
    and eggs one at a time.
    Add milk and flour alternately,
    beating
    well
    each time.
    Batter is very thick like whipped cream.
    Grease and flour a large tube pan. Place in cold oven
    and turn heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours. Do not open oven during cooking time.
