Lacy Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

vegetable oil (in deep fryer)
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
confectioners sugar

Preparation

Heat oil to 375\u00b0.
Mix all ingredients, except confectioners sugar.
Select funnel with 1/2-inch opening in small end. Swirl batter into hot oil, starting in center and working outward to make 6-inch lacy spiral.
Fry 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Can keep warm in 200\u00b0 oven. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Can also top with fruit flavors.
