Light Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 (9-inch) pie shells
Preparation

Combine flour and sugar.
Cut in margarine with pastry blender or knife until mixture is crumbly.
Set aside.
Mix together corn syrup, hot water and baking soda.
Divide liquid evenly into two 9-inch pie shells.
Divide evenly and add the crumbs.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake about 20 minutes longer or until firm.
