Bean And Pasta Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, mashed or chopped
    olive oil
    1 can Northern beans or 1 can Catalina beans
    2 cans tomato sauce or tomatoes
    pinch or 2 of oregano and basil or to taste
    1 to 2 c. small shell pasta, cooked separately
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until light brown.
    Add beans and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, then add tomato sauce, oregano and basil.
    Cook 35 to 40 minutes.
