Cass County Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. stone-ground corn meal *
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. honey
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Heat oil in pan in oven while mixing other ingredients.
Mix all ingredients (except oil).
Add heated oil last.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes in 8 or 9-inch pan.
Serves 8.
