Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 can tomato soup
    water
    2 c. nuts
    1 c. dates
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, cloves and nutmeg.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Add tomato soup plus enough water to equal 2 cups. Add nuts and dates.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
