French Cheese Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
1 Tbsp. milk
8 slices soft white bread
1/2 c. strawberry or raspberry preserves
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
powdered sugar
sliced fresh strawberries (if desired)
Preparation

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer until soft. Add milk; continue beating until smooth. Cut crusts from bread. Roll over each slice once with rolling pin to flatten slightly.
Spread each bread slice with cream cheese mixture and 1 tablespoon preserves. Roll up each slice, jelly roll fashion. Wrap rolls individually in waxed paper or plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight or at least 2 hours.
