Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter (not margarine)
3 sq. (3 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
baked pastry shell
Preparation

In a bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed about 4 minutes or until fluffy.
Stir in chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating on high after each addition and scraping sides of bowl constantly.
Transfer to baked pie shell.
Cover; chill for 5 to 24 hours or until set.
If desired, top with unsweetened whip cream and chocolate curls.
