Quick Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and eggs; beat until light and fluffy.
    Add almond extract.
    Stir in flour.
    Add baking powder until smooth. Spoon pie filling over cake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
