Make Ahead Pie Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening with pastry knife until it resembles cornmeal.
Combine egg, vinegar and water in a bowl.
Stir into flour mixture.
Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Shape into balls.
Wrap tightly and chill.
May be frozen for 1 week in refrigerator.
