Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
6 eggs
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Sift flour, then measure.
Add baking powder and salt.
Sift 5 or 6 times.
Cream the margarine and Crisco.
Add sugar.
Cream thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Add flavoring and bake in a greased and floured pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
