Gumdrops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 Tbsp. granulated gelatin
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water.
    Cook sugar and syrup until it reaches 280\u00b0.
    Do not stir while cooking.
    When it reaches 280\u00b0 add gelatin and lemon juice.
    Remove from heat. Divide the mixture into 3 parts.
    Add food coloring and flavorings to each mixture.
    Pour into square pan so that the depth of the gumdrops will be about 1-inch.
    When firm, cut into squares or strips and roll in sugar.
