Tomato Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes
    into
    small wedges and put in large bowl. Mix 1/2
    cup
    sugar
    and
    spices
    together
    and
    sprinkle over tomatoes.
    Add
    lemon
    juice and toss well. Spread evenly into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Blend remaining 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt
    and
    butter into crumbs.
    Mix in chopped nuts and sprinkle over
    top
    of
    tomato
    mixture.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 about 35 minutes.
