Brioches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. walnuts
4 Tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1 c. molasses
1/4 c. water
2 to 3 apples, cut in small pieces
Preparation

In bottom of pan, pour molasses and water.
Mix the first 4 ingredients, then add shortening as to make pie shells and milk. Roll dough in 1 large piece; spread over it small apple pieces and walnuts.
Form a roll; slice approximately 1-inch thick.
Drop in molasses and water mixture.
Cook for 35 minutes at 250\u00b0.
