Egg Yolk Pie Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Crisco (lard)
1 egg
cold water
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Place egg in cup size measure.
Add enough water to make a scant cupful.
Beat. Sprinkle egg water mixture over flour mixture and mix with a fork until crumbly.
Form into 5 or 6 pie portions.
Roll out on floured board in pie shapes.
Make into pies.
