Cheesecake Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and brown sugar; add flour and nuts and mix.
Set aside 1 cup of the mixture for topping.
Press remainder in bottom of 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth; add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
Beat well.
Spread over bottom crust and sprinkle with reserved 1 cup topping.
Return to oven and bake 25 minutes more.
Cool, then chill and cut into triangles.
May double recipe and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Makes 20 to 25 bars.
