Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stewing beef
    1 can tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 onion, sliced or diced
    3 to 4 carrots and potatoes, cut up
    celery and peas (if desired; add peas toward end of cooking)
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a covered casserole.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 to 6 hours.
