Egg White Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. boiling water
    pinch of salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Add a little cold water to cornstarch to make a paste.
    Stir into boiling water.
    Cook until thick.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add salt, then sugar gradually.
    Beat in cold cornstarch.
    Put on pie.
    Brown in oven.
