Zucchini-Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. peeled, shredded zucchini
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs, beat well. Stir in zucchini.
Set aside.
Combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Add to zucchini mixture.
Stir until thoroughly combined.
Stir in raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
These cookies can be frozen for later. Yields 3 dozen.
