Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 large (19 oz.) can red kidney beans
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 to 1 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large pepper, sliced
Preparation
    Saute onion and meat in oil until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 1 hour.
