24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 small onion, diced
    1 pkg. frozen peas, defrosted and not cooked
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled or Bac*Os
Preparation
    In a large salad bowl, layer ingredients in order given.
    Do not mix.
    Cover bowl tightly.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Toss before serving.
