Sweet And Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. pork spareribs or pork loin backribs
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. ketchup
    2/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Place ribs on rack in large shallow roasting pan.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Meanwhile, combine sugars and cornstarch in a medium saucepan.
    Stir in ketchup, vinegar and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Place ribs back in roasting pan.
    Pour about 1 1/2 cups of sauce over ribs.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Cut ribs into serving size pieces.
    Brush with remaining sauce. Serves 6 to 8.
