Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. apples (unpeeled), chopped
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Put sugar over the apples; let stand for 20 minutes.
    Mix oil and egg; sift flour, soda and salt and add to oil mixture.
    Add apples and nuts; mix well.
    Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
