My Sig Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 lb. beef chuck, cubed
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1 green pepper, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 Tbsp. basil
    1/2 Tbsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
    shredded cheese
    Fritos
Preparation
    Brown meat quickly in olive oil.
    Transfer meat to bowl. Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in same pan.
    Stir in beef, tomatoes and spices.
    Heat to boiling.
    Stir occasionally.
    Reduce heat, cover, add 1/4 cup water and cook 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Uncover and cook 45 minutes longer.
    Stir in beans and heat about 5 minutes.
    Put in bowls; sprinkle with cheese and Fritos.
