Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 box light Dixie Crystal brown sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening in a mixing bowl.
    Gradually add sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add nuts and vanilla extract. Pour batter into a well-greased, floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
