Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium sized head cabbage (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 (5 oz.) jar processed Cheddar cheese spread
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut up cabbage, removing hard core.
    Place cabbage in boiling water and parboil 5 minutes; drain.
    Alternate layers of cabbage, soup and cheese in a greased casserole.
    Season and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
