Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    3 c. fresh peanuts
    1/4 c. water
    3 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, peanuts and water in heavy saucepan. Cook until peanuts turn brown and quits popping.
    Add soda and pour onto buttered platter, spreading thin; allow to cool.
    Remove from dish and break.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
