Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    4 c. persimmon pulp mixed with 4 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. dates or cranberries, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
