Alma'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 c. pecan halves
    3 eggs
    whipped cream
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Line pie shell with pecans.
    Beat eggs well.
    Add syrup, sugar, salt and butter; mix and pour slowly into shell.
    Bake in moderately hot oven at 375\u00b0 on lower shelf for about 40 minutes. Cool.
    Serve topped with spoonfuls of whipped cream.
    Makes one (8-inch) pie.
    Makes 6 servings.
