Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. chicken bouillon
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1/8 tsp. powdered thyme
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh or frozen okra
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cooked rice
1 c. diced, cooked chicken
Tabasco sauce to taste
Preparation

Heat margarine in saucepan. Saute onion and green pepper for 10 minutes.
Place in a large soup pot. Add broth, tomatoes (cut into small pieces), bay leaf and thyme. Bring to a boil. Add the okra and pepper. Cover over low heat 15 minutes. Stir in the rice and chicken.
