Cincinnati Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger (don't brown it first)
    2 chopped onions
    1 qt. water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate (that's right!)
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 drops Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Combine the hamburger, onions and 1 quart water; simmer together for 30 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 2 to 3 hours, until thickened.
    Refrigerate overnight.
