Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed Ritz crackers (for crust)
    2 medium onions, cut in rings
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 egg
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Cover bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan with crushed Ritz crackers. Saute onions in margarine; put on top of crushed crackers.
    Beat egg and pour into a 1-cup measuring cup.
    Fill remainder of cup with milk.
    Add this mixture to cream of mushroom soup; pour over onions.
    Sprinkle with crackers or cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 minutes.
