Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. prunes, cooked and cut up
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Mix oil and sugar.
    Add eggs and prunes.
    Sift flour, salt, soda and spices together.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk to prune mixture.
    Add vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into lightly greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Pour icing on cake while cake is still warm.
    Cake is best if baked a couple of days before serving.
