Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sausage (hot or mild)
    8 1/2 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    9 eggs
    2 c. milk
    3 slices bread, diced
Preparation
    Brown sausage and drain.
    Spread crumbled sausage on bottom of 2-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle the grated cheese over the bread crumbs.
    Mix the eggs and milk together and pour over the mixture. Cover the casserole and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
    It will keep 48 hours before baking.
    Put in cold oven at 350\u00b0 and bake for 40 minutes.
    Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
    Yields 8 servings.
