Cheesy Italian Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
4 oz. shredded Mozzarella
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Thoroughly mix all ingredients, except cheese.
Press 1/2 meat in small loaf pan.
Spread 2/3 of cheese over meat, leaving 1/2 inch bare around edges.
Place rest of meat on top of cheese, pressing edges to seal.
Bake for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; return to oven for 5 minutes.
