Homemade Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. new potatoes
    1 small red onion, diced
    2 tsp. garlic
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. dill
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Place potatoes in a large Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
    Boil until potatoes are tender; remove from water and cool.
    Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch slices.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add onion, garlic, celery and dill.
    Toss to coat well.
    Add mayonnaise, a few tablespoons at a time, until salad is mixed well.
