Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 lb. bacon
4 eggs
2 c. heavy cream
3/4 tsp. salt
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of sugar
pinch of pepper
1 or more c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 or more c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Fry bacon until crisp.
Cool.
Crumble into small pieces.
Combine eggs, cream, salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg with hand beater.
Beat just enough to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle pie shell with cheese and bacon.
Pour in cream mixture. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven heat to 325\u00b0.
Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
