Lori'S Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. pot roast or bottom round
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 c. water
    3 tsp. pickling spices
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 onions, sliced
    2 bay leaves
    2 to 3 Tbsp. raisins
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, water, spices, salt and sugar to boil.
    Cool. Pour over uncooked meat and let it stand in covered plastic or crock-pot in refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
