Fresh Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    8 egg whites
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Have butter soft.
    Add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk small amount at a time.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat egg whites and fold in. Do not beat.
    Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
