Strawberry Shortcake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. soft butter

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add 1/4 cup butter and shortening, thoroughly working them into the flour mixture. Lightly mix in the sour cream with a fork.
Add just enough milk to make a soft dough.
