Saucy Ham And Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbls. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 c. shredded mild cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. ham, cut into 1/8-inch slices
    6 c. cooked potatoes sliced
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter, blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add 1 1/2 c. cheese; stir until melted. Toss potatoes in cheese sauce. Reserving 1 cup of potatoes. Pour into 2 qt. casserole dish. Arrange ham and reserved potatoes on top of casserole, top with remaining cheese. Bake 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
