Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 stick butter
    12 oz. peanuts (raw)
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Use electric skillet at 400\u00b0.
    Add sugar, syrup and butter; stir until sugar is dissolved (about 5 minutes), then add peanuts. Cook, stirring constantly, about 5 to 7 minutes.
    \"Do not brown.\" Then add soda.
    Cut off heat; stir fast and pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
    When cool, break into pieces.
