Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pretzels
    4 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. melted butter
    8 oz. frozen strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Crush pretzels (not too fine) and mix with sugar and butter. Press into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Cook 6 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Cool. Cream 1 cup sugar and cheese, then add Cool Whip.
    Mix well and pour over crust.
    Chill approximately 2 hours.
    Add 1 large strawberry Jell-O mixed with 2 cups boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries.
    Spread on top of salad; chill.
