Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. plain flour
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    Nilla wafers
    5 to 6 ripe bananas
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar with flour in top of double boiler; add 1 whole egg and 3 egg yolks and add milk and blend thoroughly.
    Cook uncovered over boiling water until thickened.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla.
    Layer in baking dish custard, wafers and bananas, ending with custard.
    Stand wafers around edge of dish.
    Whip remaining 3 egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over custard, touching wafers all around.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until delicately browned.
