Wilted Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
    leaf lettuce, cut in small pieces or head of lettuce (small head)
    1/2 c. vinegar or enough to cover lettuce well
Preparation
    Fry bacon crisp.
    Remove from pan and dry on paper towel. Remove some of bacon grease.
    Add vinegar to frying pan.
    Cook to simmer.
    Put bacon back in pan.
    Pour over lettuce and stir.
    Eat while warm.
