Ziti A La Nancy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ziti
    1 lb. ground beef (lean or chuck)
    2 qt. tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 lb. Ricotta cheese
    1/2 to 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Cook ziti and drain.
    Brown meat; stir in sauce and parsley. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Combine Ricotta, Mozzarella, egg, salt and pepper; mix well.
    In a large deep casserole or crock-pot, put a layer of sauce first, then alternate layers of ziti, cheese and sauce, ending with sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or in a crock-pot at medium setting for about 4 hours.
