Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 stalks celery
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 green pepper, finely chopped
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    salt and pepper
    1 can tomato soup or puree
Preparation
    Soak rice for 1/2 hour in water.
    Rinse thoroughly and combine with other ingredients except tomato soup or puree.
    Mix thoroughly and shape into balls.
    Place in a roaster pan and pour 1 can tomato soup or puree over top.
    Add sufficient water to come to halfway up the meat balls in pan.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours.
    After removing the balls, thicken the juice for gravy.
