Shortcake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3 rounded Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening. Add milk.
    Either roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into biscuits, or pat into a 9-inch square cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits test done.
